According to Twitterati, the social networking application “Instagram” was unavailable to thousands of users globally.
The Meta-owned network, according to 9to5Mac, is presently experiencing an outage as users worldwide complain about issues with the feed, reading DMs, and more. Instagram experienced disruptions and went down at about 9:32 a.m. PT, stated a number of Twitterati’s and DownDetector.
According to the DownDetector reporter, app crashes accounted for 66% of Instagram outage reports, server connections accounted for 24%, and the remaining 10% had trouble logging in.
While some users merely experience Instagram app latency, others are completely unable to utilise the service. Some Instagram users are also unable to load new posts on their feeds, browse Stories, or send or receive direct messages.
After a significant portion of users were unable to use the app, the hashtag #instagramdown began to trend, and Twitter quickly became inundated with humorous parodies about the problem.
Instagram asserts that they have been striving to find a solution to these issues despite the fact that the reason for the outage is unknown.
